Secured by Design is the UK Police flagship initiative owned by the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO), which supports the principles of “designing out crime” by use of effective crime prevention and security standards. Settanta and Belvedere windows have been put through rigorous testing and have been accepted by the police as meeting the exacting standards of the scheme.

British Fenestration Ratings Council (BFRC)

Both the Settanta and Belvedere window suites meet the BFRC ‘A’ to ‘G’ energy efficiency rating scheme (when calculated in accordance with BS EN ISO 10077-2) and easily surpass the requirements of Part L of the Building Regulations in England and Part J of the Building Regulations in Scotland.

Energy Saving Trust

The Energy Saving Trust developed the logo “Energy Saving Recommended” in order to distinguish the most energy efficient products. The A - C ratings achieved by Settanta and Belvedere windows helps support the scheme allowing our customers to make informed decisions when purchasing windows for their home.
